A swivel lifting point (that in most instances, if not all, can also be used as a lashing point) can also be commonly referred to as a swivel eye bolt, lifting eye, hoisting eye, load ring or lifting point but fundamentally they can all be describing the same piece of equipment.

Here at LiftingSafety we offer an extensive range of high-quality lifting/hoisting and lashing points that are side-load certified, available online and manufactured by the likes of Yoke, Codipro, RUD, Cromox, Crosby & Gunnebo.

The capacity options available range from 50kg on a tiny M4 metric thread which then incrementally increases primarily based on thread size, up to M150 on a single bolt rated to 125 tonnes, right up to a huge 200 tonnes each which uses 10 x M48 bolts. All other thread forms, such as UNC, UNF, BSPP,  metric fine, 8UN etc. are also possible through at least one type of lifting eye bolt. If a thread form exists, then we can offer it!

The chain grab is designed to fit Grade 8 Chain size 7, 8, 10, 13 and 16mm and the body of the swivel hoist ring is made from forged Alloy Steel with a design factor of safety at ratio  4:1. Individually Proof Tested to 2-1/2 times Working Load Limit. "Yellow Chromate" finish for increased corrosion protection. Full 360 degrees swivel and 180 degrees pivot action.
