Optional Rescue Wheel

Tough nylon makes the R550 rescue wheel lightweight and durable. Its ergonomic design provides a better grip and more control.

Powered Rescue

Protruding 10 mm diameter shaft on the hub is used as a drill adaptor. Connect the Power Drill to help control the pace and / or raise the fall victim. Min advised torque : 45 N.m. Min rotating speed : 0-300 turns/min

Example Applications of the Rollgliss R550

Important: Always refer to the user manual and seek proper training before attempting rescue and descender options.

Emergency escape

Use the Rollgliss™ R550 as an escape device when it is imperative to descend to the ground as quickly as possible.

Assisted rescue pick-off

Use the Rollgliss™ R550 for an assisted pick-off rescue when a victim is unable to get to safety alone. Lower to the victim and hook up to them and use the device to descend to safety.

Assisted rescue

Attach the Rollgliss™ R550 to the top of the wind turbine and lower the hook end to the victim and lower them to the ground.

Custom rescue

The Rollgliss™ R550 can be used in many custom rescue situations. Use the system to repel down the structure to safety.
