Globestock "G.Winch" 2 Speed Hand Operated Man-riding Wire Rope Winch (Lift Hoist)

The Gwinch is specifically certified for the lifting and lowering of personnel as well as materials. Ideal for use in confined space applications, this winch can be quickly and easily attached to a tripod.

When used for a man-riding (raising and lowering of persons) applications is should be use in conjunction with a secondary (fall arrest and retrieval) device.

The winch has a high mechanical efficiency and a light, smooth action making personnel hoisting easy. The internal mechanism is case hardened to give a long, wear resistant life as well as toughness and durability.

The anti-run braking mechanism means that, if the winding arm is released during lifting, the winch automatically locks, holding the person / load steady until the handle is rotated again by the operator.
