BS3032 Lifting Shackles, Bow & "D"
Self-coloured and with a screw pin (type A pin) as standard, this range of shackles can also be supplied with a galvanised finish and the various other pin types as outlined in BS3032 (types C, D, E & F), such as the hexagon bolt, nut and cotter pin (type E), which is widely regarded as a safety shackle because the nut cannot be removed without first removing the split/cotter pin.
Alternatives to BS3032 Shackles
If you're looking for shackles that are physically smaller, but with a higher capacity, then you might want to take a look at our alloy steel lifting shackles. Due to the higher grade material, they are considerably smaller than the BS3032 type of shackle and they are also galvanised as standard with painted pins (the colour of which is often related to a specific brand - Green-pin, Van Beest, red pin, Crosby, etc. - but beware, inferior fakes and copies do exist).
