The Reid PORTA-DAVIT is a rapidly deployable, lightweight lifting system that offers a working load limit of up to 1000kg and can be easily rotated 360 degrees under a full load. The system can be operated by just one person and can support both goods and personnel lifting.

The PORTA-DAVIT comes in three main configurations; the PORTA-DAVIT-500 Stropped (PD500S, shackle lifting points only - Not winch bracket capable), the PORTA-DAVIT-500 Winch Ready (PD500W) and the PORTA-DAVIT 1000 (PD1000 - 1000kg model is not winch bracket capable/mountable) all of which are designed for the lifting and lowering of goods and personnel.

The PORTA-DAVIT is available in a range of standard configurations. It can also be customised in line with specific requirements and interchangeable components (subject to WLL rating).
