Ridgegear "RGL4/K12" Extension Strap to Allow Self-connection to Fall Arrest Blocks or Restaint Systems. 450mm Length
Ridgegear "RGL4/K12" Extension Strap to Allow Self-connection to Fall Arrest Blocks or Restaint Systems. 450mm Length
Webbing strop designed to be used as an extension strap fitted to the rear D-ring of a full body harness. For restraints or fall arrest block use only (not fall arrest lanyards).
The extension strop/strap is designed to extend the attachment point of a full body safety harness into the field of vision, allowing operatives to self-connect to fall arrest blocks. The RGL4/K12 is not designed for and must not be used to extend a fall arrest lanyard. When being used with a lanyard, the RGL4/K12 must only be used in restraint scenarios.
A strong webbing is used for the strop with a break strength of 32kN, which provides greater strength, wear and shear resistance compared to other webbing.
It is also treated with a water repellent coating which should extend the life of this product.
