Tractel TOPAL TI Clamp for Horizontal Lifting and/or Laying in Trenches of Pipes - Range 500kg to 1000kg
Horizontal Clamp with opening of upto 900mm.
TOPAL TI / TTT-3319
Accessory to transport horizontal pipes and lay them into trenches. Also designed to transport bars and tubes of any material.
S = semi-automatic laying down - Semi-automatic model: manual grab action and automatic locking of the grab in the open position.
A = automatic clamping + laying down - Automatic model: the grab and laying down operation is performed without any manual operation from
the operator on the grab.
Use of TI Clamps
Semi-automatic TI:
- Positioning: suspend the grab in its open position by its ring (1) (locking pawl (2) activated).
- For lifting: present the grab vertically to the product to be lifted.
- Lower the grab until it is applied against the product to be lifted.
- Swivel the locking pawl (2) manually whilst starting off the lifting, hold it in the up position to prevent it from locking against the fastening screw (3).
- Release the locking pawl (2) making sure its claw is well above the fastening screw (3) and perform lifting.
- When laying the product down, bring down the grab until the locking pawl automatically locks (2) onto the fastening screw (3).
- The grab is locked in the open position. It can be lifted up again ready to be used again.
Automatic TI:
- Positioning: suspend the grab in the open position by its ring (1) (control lever (4) activated).
- For lifting: position the grab vertically with respect to the product to be lifted.
- Lower the grab until it is applied against the product to be lifted.
- Next lift the grab back up: its automatic system unlocks. Lifting can be performed.
- When laying the product down, lower the grab until the locking system is automatically activated (4+5).
- The grab is then locked in the open position: it can be lifted up ready to be used again.
