The Yale VSIII (VS 3) hand chain hoist (chain block) is an innovative further development introduced by Yale. The improved hand chain guide prevents tilting or jamming of the hoist's hand chain, leading to a smooth running of the chain.

High-quality bearings on hoist side plates, gearbox and load chain sheave ensure smooth operation of load chain and drive pinion. Optimised hand forces set standards for easy operation.

Features include

  • High-quality bearings for gearbox, side plates and load chain sheave for long service life.
  • Extremely low overall height allows for optimal use of headroom.
  • Suitable for fleeting.
  • Hook blocks are equipped with robust safety catches and can rotate 360 degrees.
  • Fully enclosed stamped steel housing allows for outdoor use.
  • Zinc-plated brake parts and guide rollers ensure increased corrosion protection.
  • Load chain is zinc-plated as standard for added corrosion protection.
  • Load chain sheave with needle bearing.
  • Capacities from 250kg up to 50,000kg
