Crosby ROV bow shackles (Omega Shackles) galvanised, fluorescent yellow with red pin.

These shackles have capacities from 6.5 to 55 metric tonnes. They are forged - quenched and tempered, with alloy pins. The working load limit is permanently shown on every shackle. The also feature quick-check deformation and angle indicators forged on the bow.

All ROV shackle bows, unless otherwise noted are galvanised and then painted fluorescent yellow.

These models contain a powered 12V battery which gives at least 8 hours of operation. They are hand-held, but the infrared remote allows the operator to control the lifting magnet from up to 4.5 metres away. A bail sensor prevents magnet de-energization while the load is being lifted and, for additional safety dual push buttons must be pressed simultaneously for load release. Visual and audible alarms signify when battery is running low of charge and the magnet will not turn on if the charge is not sufficient to lift a load.

Various standard configurations are available; with sling hooks, self-locking hooks etc., but other terminations are also available on request, such as clevis shackles, c-hooks or foundry hooks.
