WH C4 Manual Chain Hoist with Top Hook

The William Hackett C4 hand chain block/hoist (H.C.B) meets and exceeds the requirements of international standards BS EN13157:2004 + AI:2009, ASME B30.16-2012, AS1418.2-1997, SANS 1594:2007.

Features of the C4 Chain Block

  • Operating Temperature Range: Can be used within -40°C to +55°C.
  • Light Load Capability: Tested and certified at 2% of the chain block rated capacity.
  • Safety Latches: Fitted with heavy-duty/hard-wearing latches for a strong and robust hook closure.
  • Overload Indicator Marks: The top and bottom hooks have an overload indicator mark on either side of the hook throat (as part of the forging). Measuring the distance between the indicator marks can quickly and easily check to see if the hook has stretched due to misuse or overloading.
  • Hand Chain Joiner: A unique hand chain joiner is used as a quick and secure method of joining the hand chain without the need to cut, bend, open and close a link of existing hand chain.
  • Fleeting / Cross Hauling: Tested and certified for fleeting or cross-hauling applications up to 45° from the vertical without having the de-rate the SWL.
  • Load Chain: Fitted with a load chain that complies with international standards BS EN818-7 Grade T (8) and JIS B8812 Grade V (10). Optionally available with corrosion-protected load chain.
  • Overload Limiter: Option available upon request.
